Welcome!

After attending the ground breaking ceremony in October, 2010, Mary Ellen Ipiotis was inspired to create a BLOG about the massive desert rose sprouting forth on sacred grounds in Sandoval County.

C'mon in! Please make yourself at home. Join me with your commentary, questions, stories, photos, video's, any information you would like to share... about the new medical center, the land it is on, the people and places in the area, anything you think people would like to know.

Mary Ellen is listening and will be on the look out for you ~

August

Another month gone as another month waits in the wings. It is only a matter of hours before we get the chance to kind of reboot, start something over or begin a new project or endeavor. It is a month of change and adjusting to different things we may or may not like but still needs to happen. School, appointments, places to be, people to meet and greet, maybe comfort or commiserate with.

We try to make the best of every day gifted to us, to be better, blessed and a blessing.

May the new month of August bring you joy, peace, comfort and good health. ☮

New Season

Seems like the pages of the calendar were just changed a few days ago. The air and light are the more obvious changes occurring. It takes people a minute to adjust to the subtle and not so subtle transitions. The mind and body also shifts, gradually and sometimes suddenly.

May the new season bring everything good, happy and healthy! May your hopes and dreams keep you striving for excellence! May you continue to be a blessing and be blessed, by respect, love and peace.

10th Month

Another month begins and we ask ourselves or whomever will listen; "Where does time go?"         We wonder how yesterday seems to bounce across the calendar and become today so quickly.  *The season's do not ask for permission to change the timing is perfect simple subtle as shift's occur and another set of conditions come about. The effect of the month, the mood, the attitude is caused by many different elements, landmark dates, slight revisions take place and dramatic adjustments are made according to the days events, anniversaries, birthdays, season changing predictability and "no one saw this coming" news.  *Life serves-up a bowl of  surprises at a time... one moment it's a piping hot bowl of Malt O Meal comforting and satisfying the next serving is a savory mouth watering bowl of just done stew it soothes the soul and warms the heart with it's goodness. The next bowl  is wrong, burnt beyond recognition mixture of something resembling liver and onions and a rancid chunk of rump roast decaying with ingredients of negativity, doubt, worry, anger, impatience and stressing out in vain. *Here's to a peaceful October.

Miracles

The first day of November arrives right on time, not a moment too soon as the new month begins, opportunities beacon, fresh beginnings await, possibilities abound and miracles wait for the perfect moments to occur. Landmark days take place, births, deaths, sickness and health require attention and tending to.  The second to the last month of the year seems to hold a certain mystery, and wonder stirs in the cool, clean air.
People get on with their lives, living as always, one day at a time hoping each day is better than the day before, hoping to stay healthy and happy or continually striving to get there. As seasons change, challenges emerge to remind us of the realities of life, of what was, what might be and hope the future unfolds peacefully, that life's lessons are gentle, kind and encouraging and that burdens are lifted, do not linger and move out much quicker than the days you wish... would last forever.
