We say goodbye to October and look forward to November. We hope for good days and brace ourselves for days that will bring challenges that we might think are unsurmountable yet we will somehow manage to see our way through.
We can bless each other with respect and kindness, tolerance, forgiveness and peace. We hope for good days ahead that will bring health of mind, body and spirit. As we turn the calendar to a new month let us stand tall and as hopeful for better days ahead, days that bring good natured spirits and joyful intention to enhance every day with goodness, sweet peace and quiet for our restless souls.
We pray for peace with all our hearts we pray for justice and our fair share of resources to enjoy life. What we can offer to one another goes beyond bill boards and television, social media and cell phones. What we can offer each other is the best of ourselves as we approach each day and each other with the utmost respect, it is that simple and more important than ever before. Here's to a good month ahead. Blessings good people to you and everything you hold dear and near. http://brunodelaroza.com/
Medicine Sky is intended to share a wide variety of information about the UNM Sandoval Regional Medical Center, it's progress during construction, the story behind the community and the people who are involved with it's development. Also found in this Blog are: the culture, history, heritage, art, food, form and function of all things considered in connection with the hospital.
Welcome!
After attending the ground breaking ceremony in October, 2010, Mary Ellen Ipiotis was inspired to create a BLOG about the massive desert rose sprouting forth on sacred grounds in Sandoval County.
C'mon in! Please make yourself at home. Join me with your commentary, questions, stories, photos, video's, any information you would like to share... about the new medical center, the land it is on, the people and places in the area, anything you think people would like to know.
Mary Ellen is listening and will be on the look out for you ~

October
There is no season when such pleasant and sunny spots may be lighted on, and produce so pleasant an effect on the feelings, as now in October ~

10th Month
Another month begins and we ask ourselves or whomever will listen; "Where does time go?" We wonder how yesterday seems to bounce across the calendar and become today so quickly. *The season's do not ask for permission to change the timing is perfect simple subtle as shift's occur and another set of conditions come about. The effect of the month, the mood, the attitude is caused by many different elements, landmark dates, slight revisions take place and dramatic adjustments are made according to the days events, anniversaries, birthdays, season changing predictability and "no one saw this coming" news. *Life serves-up a bowl of surprises at a time... one moment it's a piping hot bowl of Malt O Meal comforting and satisfying the next serving is a savory mouth watering bowl of just done stew it soothes the soul and warms the heart with it's goodness. The next bowl is wrong, burnt beyond recognition mixture of something resembling liver and onions and a rancid chunk of rump roast decaying with ingredients of negativity, doubt, worry, anger, impatience and stressing out in vain. *Here's to a peaceful October.

October
Cool mornings, warm afternoons, restless nights, bright lingering large and lovelier than usual- moon, baseball, pumpkin patches, change, travel, work, rest, unrest, regroup and connect. How can OCTOBER be so full of surprises, the multi-colored, multi-faceted palette of life laid bear for all to take part in. Every drop of life, every disappointing, sorrowful, serendipitous, joyful, encouraging exhilarating bit of it... makes for a big part of what was, what is and all the possibilities of things to come. As the season's change one hopes to move peacefully along, moving forward better for the wear and tear.
