After attending the ground breaking ceremony in October, 2010, Mary Ellen Ipiotis was inspired to create a BLOG about the massive desert rose sprouting forth on sacred grounds in Sandoval County.
C'mon in! Please make yourself at home. Join me with your commentary, questions, stories, photos, video's, any information you would like to share... about the new medical center, the land it is on, the people and places in the area, anything you think people would like to know.
Mary Ellen is listening and will be on the look out for you ~

If you are anxious in despair or afraid know, peace awaits. Be brave, breathe, calm yourself quietly as soon as you can for as long as you can.
If the weather, the world, all things big and little raise your temperature, make your head and your heart hurt, take refuge in your own strength (you are stronger than you think) remember all the good places and people who strive to make life more livable and lovable. Be well.

2018 / 2019
May the new year bring us good health,
happiness and continued blessings.
May we bring the new year the best we have to offer one another and keep each other in places of the heart and soul
where only love and peace reside.

March Into April
It is not always the easiest mode of operation or the path of least resistance but it is most often worth the risk of being true to yourself to say; "Better to march to the sound of your own beat" to be authentic, real an original one of a kind than to go along with and get lost in the crowd. It is the brave person who listens to his own heart beat!
HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!
May the new month be filled with everything
May the new month be filled with everything
that makes you happy healthy and safe!

Happy Heart
Let the mending of a broken, heavy, hardened heart begin. If I can help heal an open wound or scabbed-over scar with a simple gesture of kindness, then damage control is underway. *Let me understand this correctly, how crucial and powerful the moment is, to step forward in such a way that lights-up the darkness.
To lament about the power of love is one thing, to live it inside out and cultivate the elements of love, is another. To practice the art of love is to constantly adapt and modify, to be patient, kinder, gentler than the time before. Repair is within our means, so simple, so doable in theory yet easier to dismiss the necessity of taking care of a sloppy attitude which renders a blurred perception, that plunges into a harsh place in words or deeds.
We do so much better with one another when we seize the opportunity any reason or no reason at all to make life more livable and lovable. The quality of life improves immensely it is a smoother ride and easier to take when a weary heart is made to feel better, lifted, polished, stronger for the wear and tear. Behold ~ Love from our hearts and souls makes life beautiful, worth living. What may have been a sad heart is once again happy, revived because of love.

Healthy Heart ♥
For the sake of good living when LOVE is in place, done right and with respect;
peace, harmony and the overall quality of life follow.
It is as much a prerequisite for the healthy heart and mind as clean air and water.
With love in place the world can be traversed, untangled and sorted out, the daily grind is doable, burdens are bearable and the soul is satisfied with the knowledge and presence of loves mystery, magic, power, profound healing properties and positive forces of nature.

Heart to Heart
UNM Sandoval Regional Medical Center's sister hospital, UNM Hospital and Health Sciences Center have long been making advancements in it's Cardiology Clinic, Cardiac Cath Lab and Cardiac Rehabilitation Clinics. Specialty programs and departments in the planning and development stage at UNM SRMC include Cardiology Research and Clinical Programs which will make way for more opportunities to serve people in the region with heart aches and pains. We can hardly wait to see what is in store in the name of keeping hearts strong and healthy, one heart to many hearts at a time.
In theory as in practicality and reality Jacques Benigne Bossuel sums up the complex and magnificent ways of the heart; "The heart has reason that reason does not understand."
