Welcome!

After attending the ground breaking ceremony in October, 2010, Mary Ellen Ipiotis was inspired to create a BLOG about the massive desert rose sprouting forth on sacred grounds in Sandoval County.

C'mon in! Please make yourself at home. Join me with your commentary, questions, stories, photos, video's, any information you would like to share... about the new medical center, the land it is on, the people and places in the area, anything you think people would like to know.

Mary Ellen is listening and will be on the look out for you ~

April ☼ May

With a warm embrace April waves goodbye to May, like two old friends with a long history and much mutual respect and affection. The seasons roll into the other sometimes quietly and sometimes as if in a constant state of transition. Gears shift, the cycle of life continues on cue in accordance with time and the rhythm of life. Another Spring is upon us and the light of day grows longer, the earth springs forward, it is new yet very familiar.

There is a brand new sense of hope, anticipation for good things to come, new possibilities, the end for some and the beginning for others.

Here's to days filled with peace and goodness, fresh perspective and health of mind, body and soul.

Happy Easter!

Here's to whatever it is you are happy about! To good health, happiness and the resources we enjoy! Here's to the capacity to bless one another in quiet ways and colossal, around every corner another possibility for the best and worst of life. We hope for everything good and things that make you a better person, things that move you and leave you spellbound by it's beauty and wonder.

From the cold frigid air of winter to the Spring, an exciting time, shifting takes place, school winds down, new life rev's up, situations and schedules change, anything can happen, we hope for the better for goodness sake. It is time to shed our winter coat, start over begin anew as the weather slips into something more comfortable. We react in like manner in step, a bit more relaxed and inclined to synchronize with the rhythm of life. Here's to new days ahead, new life, new possibilities great and small, to potential and growth that sprouts from mother earth! Here's to the sweet smell of wet dirt and freshly cut grass and the fragrance of kindness, love and peace, so sweet and Springy.

"I Guess Things Are Gonne Be Just Fine, If We Only Will"!

A hospital is an important reflection of the people who use it, who develop and maintain it, who contribute to the quality of it's existence. The organization serves as an active, thriving community, constantly on the move, growing, lending it's resources to those who require them. An  orchestrated presence, blending and complimenting key elements to make it all work. It is an ongoing cooperative, like a band of musicians, the singers harmonize with the sound of the instruments, the rhythm, melody and beat all in sync to create a masterful and brilliant work of art and science!
Words can be hard to live by,
               but still nice to hear.
