After attending the ground breaking ceremony in October, 2010, Mary Ellen Ipiotis was inspired to create a BLOG about the massive desert rose sprouting forth on sacred grounds in Sandoval County.

Equality

Born in Atlanta, Georgia on January 15th, 1929. Died by assissination on April 4, 1968. A champion of people for civil rights, respect, liberty, the pursuit of happiness. The price for freedom is costly but a basic human right. RESPECT, justice, fairness, equality... Dr King did not ask for too much, only what rightly belonged to it's owners.
